Right Side, Left Leaning Decrease - Row A

Yarn forward, slip 1 stitch purlwise.

Yarn over both slipped stitches on the Right Needle, brioche knit 1 st.

Slip 2 stitches, yarn over.

Slip 1 stitch with its corresponding yarn over knitwise.

Pass the left-most slipped stitch (the one slipped knitwise with its yo) over the stitch just worked and off the needle. 1 stitch decreased.

This is how your Right Side should look. Notice the grey yarn over that belongs to the 2 blue stitches that are 4th & 5th from the left? The grey decreased stitch is just to the right of those blue stitches.

Slip stitch to Cable Needle & hold to the back of work.

Yarn forward, slip stitch from Cable Needle to Left Needle.

This is how your Wrong Side should look. Notice the blue columns that are leaning towards each other in the center? Those are your stitches that share a grey yarn over.

Right Side, Right Leaning Decrease - Row A

Yarn forward, slip 1 stitch purlwise.

Slip stitch from Cable Needle onto Left Needle.

This is how your Right Side should look. Notice the grey columns that come together at the first stitch on the RN? That's the decrease. The sl2yo is just to the right.

Slip stitch (with yarn over) to Cable Needle, hold to front.

Yarn over both stitches on Right Needle.

This is how your Wrong Side should look. Notice the blue columns that are leaning towards each other in the center? Those are your stitches that share a grey yarn over.

Slip 1 stitch purlwise.

Brioche knit 2 stitches together.

1 stitch decreased.

Knit at Nite MKAL Tutorial: 2-Color Reversible Brioche Decreases

Since this tutorial is covering a few stitches at once, the layout will be a bit different from my normal tutorials but it should be very useful to you just the same. If anything is unclear, please send me an e-mail so I can walk you through the steps. Happy knitting!

Note: It's difficult to explain which part of the pattern each decrease fits into, but I've done my best to make it make sense. These rows/decreases match with the rows and order worked in the pattern exactly, I've just left out the ribbing stitches on either side and in between the decreases. You can take the tutorial instructions and match them almost word for word to your pattern.

 Quick Links to the Stitches:

Row 7a: Right Side, Left Leaning Decrease - Row A (worked in C2 in the pattern)

Row 7a: Right Side, Right Leaning Decrease - Row A (worked in C2 in the pattern)

Row 7b: Right Side, Left Leaning Decrease - Row B (worked in C1 in the pattern)

Row 7b: Right Side, Right Leaning Decrease - Row B (worked in C1 in the pattern)
